What you see here is the string i get from the lockinfo weatherplugin, this opens all teh way to the good integration of weather!!
I got this using MAtt’s code because the code i was asking people to use: getSource() is not working on Safari (nor iPhone ;) )

fewer settings for users, same style result, faster… and surely more reliable.
So i’m going to do my best to end this.

And, YES, i’m still on the todo plugin and of course i’ll add a click on weather for week forecast option ;)

    Yes – nice find.

  2. geo411m Says:

    so what you are saying is that your theme would use the native weather plugin and we wouldn’t need config_weather.js for messing with weather setting. This would be awesome if that’s the case, next best thing to the native weather clock itself.

  3. Luke Says:

    Just out of curiosity, what font are you using in this screenshot?
    Also; testing out the push notification’s and it seems to work perfectly for me. Many thanks

  4. ame235 Says:

    thnkx for the debug @Luke,
    oh and the font is Caviar Dreams.

  5. geo411m Says:

    I’m going to try a restore when I get home. Maybe a tweak or cydia app that isn’t playing nice. Also are using the push beta plugin from the beta repo or the beta lockinfo with the integrated push plugin? This is driving me crazy that mine seems to be the only one that doesn’t work.

  6. ame235 Says:

    i’m using a Push plugin 0.5.0 dunno where it comes from since i just put it back in by ssh when i restore the phone..
    also i did not unlock and do not use the pushfix (which comes to make my push unusable for some reason..)

  7. geo411m Says:

    Already I see that we have a different version of the push plugin. The have the plugin from the lockinfo beta which should have a higher version of the push plugin. I try it with that one and let you know if something changes.

    One more thing, is it possible to have each header plugin scrollable? It would be cool if each separate section would be large enough to show one event and you could scroll to see more because with all my tweets I can’t see other stuff unless I collapse the other sections or I enable scrolling across the whole theme.

  8. ame235 Says:

    oh, hope it will work.
    //Scrolling
    not sure this can be done, i’ll keep that in mind for when i’ll be finished with plugins (weather, push, twitter, todo)
    seems I’ll be working a lot! o_O’

  9. Ego Says:

    Hi There,
    Great work on this theme. I was having a problem with the weather icon not showing the current condition. I looked through the weather.js and saw you were pulling the the first icon from the forecast array. I don’t know if this is of any interest to anyone but if you go to line 59: and change

    Mini[obj.forecast[0].icon]+iconExt; to Mini[obj.icon]+iconExt;

    that will give you the current condition.

    But since you’re going to use the native plugin, that’s great news.

    Also, has anyone noticed a problem with scrolling after a respring? I find that using this theme after a respring, if the calendar doesn’t load right away you lose scrolling.

    thanks

    great work. but it seems that we cannot install 0.50 push plugin now , it do version check on cydia,

    would you please also update the lockinfo ? it integrate with the push now….thx a lot

  11. dmeerpa Says:

    @Ego,

    the problem you are describing is already detected and fixed, there seems also to be a problem with the minimum and maximum temps, but the latstes version is not yet available via Cydia.

    check the previous blogs from the today where you can download the latest beta versions who does no longer have these problemes.

  12. geo411m Says:

    @Gordon
    I did a quick and “dirty” fix. I ssh the older push plugin directly into lockinfo beta and it works fine. I think the only thing different is you don’t get the status bar icon.

    @ame235
    I was doing a comparison between the new and old push plugin and I noticed that David changed the file name of the plugin. The old name was “PushNotificationPlugin” while the new name is “NotificationPlugin”.

  13. Adam Says:

    How can i remove the date and time from todo’s tasks?

  14. SupaBrotha Says:

    Can you post exactly where/how to change the country code etc for the weather? Mine still says Luxemberg and I’m in the US (Detroit). I lknkw where the file is but didn’t see where to adjust or what to change.

  15. ame235 Says:

    just a little patience,
    the weathericon plugin enabled version will be ready very soon.

    using it right now to test it, works a charm.
    i just select my location in the weather app of the iphone and bam! it’s on my lockscreen.

    //adding weather forecast..

  16. Jack Says:

    Push works perfectly for me (tested with facebook and whatsapp) :

    Merci encore.
    PS: j’en profite pour te demander quelque chose, je vois que tu fais une liste avec les trucs à ajouter, donc je propose, si c’est possible, d’integrer le QuickReply SMS au lockscreen?

    //edit ame235:
    nah, la tu vas trop loin pr moi.. moije fais un theme, pas un application complete et je crois pas que ca puisse se faire en javascript.
    mais si t’as un extrait de code sur lequel se baser, prquoi pas!

  17. Jack Says:

    Ne publie pas ;p

    Juste c’est ou que l’on peut recuperer les appli cydia par ssh?
    Parce que pour lockinfo ya un dossier mais les autres je trouve pas :s

    //EDIT: je comprends pas ce que tu cherches…

  18. SupaBrotha Says:

    Running the Beta now and it works pretty well with Twitter, etc…

    Scrolling seems to fail after you unlock the phone and reach the homescreen. Once you lock the phone again and then show lockinfo again the scrolling no longer works.

  19. Gordon Ho Says:

    @geo144m

    thanks very much.

    for those who wants to download the old version plugin , here it is.

    // edit ame235:
    // is that file allowed? i mean, is that a cracked version or what?
    // if it’s not i’ll show link.

    Thanks.

  21. marlin Says:

    Salut Ame, c’est quoi la version 0.98 disponible sur bigboss?
    ca a l’air d’etre une vieille version : pas de fichier weather_config…

    Hello Ame, what is the 0.98 version available on bigboss?
    seems to be an old version : no weather_config file…

  22. ame235 Says:

    //@marlin:
    v 0.98 on Bigboss is a version i posted just before beta..
    useless now as i did a lots of mods/integrations..
    point is: the repo moderators won’t understand they should delete v0.8…at least they upgraded 0.92 ;)

    //devin24
    You don’t follow progress.
    Refresh already added before just click on the weather ico to get a refresh.
    Now i will now decieve some of you: with the weathericonplugin refresh gets to come when weathericon whants (you can set it in there)
    so i won’t bresponsible anymore for refresh times… :P

  23. marlin Says:

    est-ce que la beta permet d’actualiser la météo en touchant celle-ci?

  24. Gordon Says:

    @ame

    no, it is just a push plugin. it’s not contain any crack. it is just a old version push plugin is available to download from Cydia, but David has change the version checking >= 1.1.9 ( this version is never exist ) , as he said, because the push is integrate to the lockinfo now, so that this plugin is no longer use. for this reason, he will not provide any external plugin for push now

    however, if i use your theme with push, i have to download the old version, the integrate push plug-in version is not compatible with your theme

    thanks
    Gordon
