the push notifications work in a weird way… if the same application is receiving them I can see every single instance, otherwise if i receive a notification from another application the ones displayed before get erased and replaced with the new one. If the first application receives another notification, the notifications of the second application get erased and i can see only all the notifications of the first one.
That’s weird…
I can’t see the red bar either.

there must be something wrong.
red bar is allways displayed when a push is displayed.
ensure new version downloaded does not come from cache. (seems a common problem)

Anybody else having the issue where you can’t collapse Twitter (could be anything that’s towards the bottom of your list though) until you collapse the things above it? Basically if I have three apps showing I have to collapse all the ones on the top before I can collapse the bottom one.

One more question: in the strings file there is the part “var weatherText” with all the weather conditions.
What is it used for or better: where can I use these phrases? Would be great to have the word “Rain” in the weather area…

Juste une chose pour les français, et pour toi ame35.
Depuis un bon moment j’ai pris l’habitude quand j’installe tes versions de teehanlax de changer une ligne du fichier fr.js qui me génais, et je sais pas si je suis le seul :
quand il y a + d’évenements à afficher, ou quand il y a plus de mails,…
il faut appuyer sur “Mails suivants…”.
Bizarre quand il s’agit d’evenemements dans le calendrier.
donc pour moi:

Nice job on this new version. The remove Push has the same problem as it had earlier tho. IT hides them but when I receive a new one it shows the hidden ones again. But again… LockInfo 1.14 so don’t worry.
I’m afraid i’m sticking to the last BETA you released as that ones doesn’t have the scroll bug for me.
So I will be editing that one to implement your new features and hope those don’t trigger the scroll bug on my version.
Also I will probably build that hidden message array we talked about in this version.
Btw, check your credits in the files, at least in the config.js is a bad typo in the bottom credits

I use LockInfo 2.0.0-4, it operates with your Theme without problems!!!
But one question:
Work this Theme with the updates of WeatherIcon 2.3.2-7 and WeatherIcon Plugin 1.1.1-2 !???
I had read, after update this, the weather on Lockscreen no more updating…

@ame235 I actually figured out what the problem is with the Things plugin. This theme is not using the new native rendering that is supported by LockInfo so native plugins aren’t rendering without being written in explicitly by you or someone else. I would recommend switching to native rendering. It’ll make it much easier for more plugins to be used with this great theme you’ve created

Hi,
I noticed something. I do not hide empty sections and the arrows in the headers displayed only if there were entries to display but in this version they stay there. If I hit one section the arow chenges and keeps this postion till a info for this sections appears. Then you are ale to collapse and decollapse this section.
Now I disabled the arrows but it looked fencier with the arrows

Is there any way to add JUST the weather icon, current temp, hi and lo temps, city name, and description (i.e. cloudy, showers, etc.) to the home screen, with the ability to place it anywhere on the screen? I currently use a heavily modified iVillain theme that has a weather widget that uses either the appleAccuweatherStolen.js or yahooWeather.js sources. The yahooWeather.js source does not parse hi and lo temps. The apple source does, however, there are always small differences between the data it displays and the data your theme displays (which I currently have set to the iPhone’s default weather app).
Any ideas? Please advise.

Great job! Works just fine on the latest LockInfo, but is kind of slow (sections take a while to appear, clock & weather come up immediately), even on my 3GS.

Little update from my side.
I cant find out at all why the scroll bug is happening… All i know is that i dont have it with the last beta version (the minified one). So that’s the one I use and I’m adding features you added at later releases.
I dont know if I will release it here, as it seems i’m the only one who has the scroll bug

If you are talking about mine, it wont work how you think it does.
It doesn’t actually remove anything but hides it from LockInfo. For removal of emails you need to have LockInfo 2.0 i think, as that has this option.
The push messages don’t get cleared always, or sometimes you don’t want to bother opening the app they come from to clear them. So I added the removal function to them, to show clearly which ones you did see and which one are new.

I don’t have all those problems you describe with push.
These days i managed to receive pushes that i was mean to recieve (dammed “push fix” !!!) so i began using that feature pretty much.
can’t figure out why i didn’t use it before..(pointless, ok i go to point:)
The clear pushes bar is in fact useful as those old messages don’t disappear alone, but when i clear them, they never come back.
Even if i clear and don’t open the responsible app. How come you get different reactions? i know you use an old version, but that shouldn’t make any difference at this level….
Using last version of lockinfo without any notification plugin. (this has been integrated into lockinfo

kow can I center the text of the calenderdays in the middle of top and botton of the black bar. now the text is on top. I now it is in style.css, but I only find to chance the font-size. I would like the same position as the “CLEAR” of push.

I’ll explain the problem I had before. When receiving a push and then clearing them. I dont do anything as some pushes don’t require to open the app right away. So I clear the messages and then I receive a new one, the old ones reappear again.
This is because the updatePush is done every time a push is received and the messages are stored in some array by the plugin.
This is why I made and optimized the removal of individual messages. To clear old messages and save the ones I want to save.
I don’t understand why this would be different for you unless the plugin is changed.
So try if yours works same as mine. Receive a msg, hide it and then see if you receive a new one if the old one is still hidden. Don’t open the app they belong to in the meanwhile. Just leave it in the lockscreen.

i receive a push from facebook, clear it in theme, DON’T open Facebook app, then receive another PUSH from facebook (or any other app BTW), and the only one that shows is the last one.
That is exactly the way it behaves here.. i’m using the push plugin that is now integrated in lockinfo 2.0, so it might be updated.

Hi ame235, Great Theme!!! One question is how to get rid of the (in so many days/weeks) and the number of events from the Calendar. I tried to follow your instructions above, found the entry, tried to remove it but still got the “()”’s for the event numbers and the (in so many days/weeks) text still shows up! Please help, I really don’t like the text “in 2 days”, “in 1 week” etc…

Many thanks for your update, but 2 things are missing:
- with lockinfo 2.x a mail preview is possible, but unfortunately not with your theme
- in case of a large mail list scrolling to the button mail and hold than the view must be possible. Up to now it scrolls automatically to the top when you release your fingers from the screen

please set the calendar entries on the same line as the calendar date in the final version. and birthdays should be moved more right, so they are equal to normal calendar entries. after that, it should be perfect

nope again and again this is an html theme, it cannot use all teh features of the lockinfo 2.0, (i wish it could!!)
scrolling bug is known and we don’t kno ehre it comes from, btw i think i faound a solution hat will take a bit to implement.

Nope, unless Mr. Ashman makes the mail data (prewiew data) available in JSON string..
an i don’t thin he wants this because that would make a lot muc slower the whole thing.
might also be a strategy to make people buy lockinfo, even if i woldn’t understand the point as themes need Lockinfo.
First option is 100% more possible, this is just a theme, it relys on the possibilities of only one part of lockinfo, the themable one..
it’s like asking to change the position of the dialogs in a theme for springborad, that is not possible…unless winterboard or springboard make it possible.

diplayrelativeTime is set to false and you see those.. will look for that.”, I found the “displayrelativeTime” and it was set to false, but I still get the “in 1 day (1)” and “in 1 week (2)” text on the calendar events. Is there another setting string I need to set to false to get rid of this? Or is this something that will have to be done in another release?
Also, what can I do to get rid of of the Black Background? I have a wallpaper on the Lock Screen that would look awsome with this theme and I would like to see my own wallpaper.

when i say it’s set to false and you see them, and i will look for that, i mean:
it’s set to false, you see those – but you shouldn’t – so i’ll look for that for next update.
for black background, must be the setting of backgorund trasparency in lockinfo settings. put it lo the max left.

I have tried to get the weather to show up on my hometown and it just keeps showing “loading”.
using accuweather my location is:
EUR/UK/UK188/Haltwhistle
tested using the default luxembourg and works ok, so why will it not show this location above??? a bug ?

Enormous update:
Made lots of mods/addons this weekend,
theme now has a plugin to configure it directly from lockinfo Pugins.
You can choose Language, different weather IconSet, speed of animation, most of the config.js options but iphone friendly!
(U can’t imagine how cool it is to configure my theme without editing the JS!!)
Just waiting for an answer from repo to put it on.
(I have two files in two different folders: plugin + theme)
if anyone has info on this….
will post screenshots of config screen later…

so you should already see it.. seearch for “235″ you’ll get two packages, one is v0.92 the other is v1.0
obviously v1.0 is the one.
